Traveler has always been at the forefront of transforming how travel websites are created and managed. With each update, it introduces new features designed to help website owners build exceptional platforms. A common challenge for many travel website owners is finding effective ways to boost revenue and attract more customers, and Traveler aims to address this.
In its latest version, Traveler 3.1.7, two exciting features have been added: “Sticky Header” and “Pick-Up Field for Activity“.
The sticky header is a powerful feature that enhances user experience and navigation on your website. By keeping the header visible at all times as users scroll, it ensures that essential elements like the menu, logo, and call-to-action buttons remain easily accessible. This can improve site usability, reduce bounce rates, and encourage users to explore your content more deeply.
With Traveler, you can enable the sticky header for your website and customize it to match your branding. You have the flexibility to set the sticky header background color and adjust it for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience across all screen sizes. A well-designed sticky header can make your website more intuitive and professional, leaving a lasting impression on visitors.
Simply, just navigate to Traveler > Theme Options > Styling Options and set Sticky header
You can see the sticky header in action as you scroll through the website
Pick-Up Field for Activity
This function is only applied to the Modal checkout
The Single Activity Page now includes a Pick-Up field, enabling users to enter their preferred pick-up location before completing the booking process. This enhancement adds flexibility to the booking experience and ensures that both admins and partners receive accurate details about customer preferences. It’s a practical, user-friendly feature designed to improve communication and convenience for both customers and partners.
To enable this feature for a specific activity, go to WPAdmin > Activity then Add/Edit Activity > Activity Settings > General, and ON for Turn on/off Pick-Up
Finally, the Pick-up field will be displayed on the activity detailed page.
When customers provide this information, it will be displayed on the Checkout page, Checkout Success page, and in the Booking History as well.
To display this information in the booking information email, use the shortcode [st_email_pickup_info] in the email template.
