Our discounting system makes it easy for website owners to offer deals on their room rates in a way that fits their needs. By allowing website owners use different kinds of discounts, like percentage discounts, fixed-amount discounts, discounts for the total number of days, and bulk discounts, this system gives them a lot of ways to attract customers and get more sales.
The admin dashboard makes it easy to set up and manage the system. This lets website owners quickly build and apply discounts to their room rates as needed. Website owners can also set when their discounts start and stop, as well as which rooms or types of rooms the discounts apply to.
Go to Room(s)> All Rooms to edit any room you want. Scroll it down you would see the Room price tab where you can set up a discount for a room
Also, the system shows customers a clear breakdown of pricing, including the original list price, the net price after a discount, and the final selling price. This helps build trust and openness with customers.
List Price is the price in the label of item services
For example, hotel advertises a room for $200 per night on their website. They may offer discounts or promotions that can bring the price down for certain customers.
Net Price is the price of service after any discounts have been applied and additional fees have been added
For example, a hotel offers a 10% discount on the room mentioned above, the net price for the customer would be $180 per night ($200 – 10%).
Final Selling Price is the price of service after any discounts have been applied and all taxes and additional fees have been added
Total Discount is a discount that is applied to the total cost of booking room by days
For example, a hotel offers a 10% total discount on a room that costs $100 per night, the discounted price for each night would be $90. If the guest stays for three nights, the total discount would be $30 ($10 discount for each night), making the total cost of the stay $270.
Bulk discount is a discount that is offered when customer stay a certain number of days
For example, a hotel might offer a 20% bulk discount to customers who book a rooms for five nights that costs $100 per night. The total discount would be $60 ($20 discount for each night), making the total cost of the stay $240
Percentage discount is a discount that is applied to the total cost of the room reservation as a percentage of the original price
For example, a hotel offers a 10% discount on a room that costs $100 per night, the discounted price would be $90 per night ($100 – 10%).
Fixed amount discount is a discount that is applied to the total cost of the room reservation as a fixed dollar amount off the original price
For example, if a hotel offers a $20 discount on a room that costs $100 per night, the discounted price would be $80 per night ($100 – $20).
NOTE:
The discount is applied to each individual unit of the product, rather than to the overall cart total. For example, a $5 fixed discount on a $20 room would mean that each individual room costs $15 after the discount is applied.
If a customer stay a room for 4 nights, they would pay $60 total ($5 per day x 4 days) instead of $75 ($20 room x 4 days – $5 discount). This is because the fixed amount discount is applied to each individual hat rather than to the total cost of all the hats combined.
NOTE:
The discount is only applied for the original list price – not for extra price included
The tax is applied for the net price which is added the discount and extra price
